Backend Concept Design Frontend IA Identity
Driven by some intricate challenges around a new organizational structure, we developed a simple, balanced, continuous content flow that would allow visitors to navigate the vast archives of past EO imagery and meta data.
The challenges for this project were many, beginning with providing a clean and simple aesthetic, simultaneously paying tribute to the marvelous visual content and carefully considering the rigid technical implementation requirements of 508 accessibility standards, legacy image sizes and a pre-existing database. The end result... a beautiful, clean, elegant design and pixel-perfect front-end templates – which NASA's EO team implemented meticulously in-house.
